What We Collect

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. If you purchase a premium subscription, we also store your email address for login and subscription management purposes. That's it.

We don't collect your name, location, or any other personal information.

How We Use It

Your email address is used to send you Whodunnit Weekly newsletters — a Friday case teaser and a Monday solution notification. For premium subscribers, your email is also used to send login links and manage your subscription.

We will never sell, share, or give your email address to anyone else.

Payments

Premium subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your payment card details — all payment data is handled entirely by Stripe. You can manage your billing and cancel your subscription at any time via the Stripe customer portal.

Where It's Stored

Your email address is stored on our self-hosted mailing list server and, for premium subscribers, on our self-hosted subscription database. Emails are sent via Amazon Simple Email Service (SES). No third-party marketing platforms have access to your data.

Unsubscribing

Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also reply to any newsletter and ask to be removed. When you unsubscribe, your email address is deleted from our list.

Cookies & Tracking

This site uses a single httpOnly session cookie for premium subscribers to stay logged in. We do not use analytics, tracking scripts, or any third-party cookies. We don't track which emails you open or which links you click.
